Paul Young makes a visit to meet the Cygnets

There were seven Cygnets present.    After fly tying Tam demonstrated how to play a fish on the grass using a wooden fish.  Conditions were pretty breezy so only one side of the Millpond was being used.   Morgan  landed the first fish, then went on and caught her second.   Louise caught her first every fish on the fly and Abbi completed the girl trio by landing one after losing one.   Callum Clark and Robert Hiddleston also both lost fish and it looked like being a clean sweep by the girls until Robert managed to hold on to one with just 5 minutes to go.    Paul was great and went round speaking to all the children and giving little titbits of advice re casting, fly selection etc.   Everyone enjoyed the day.   The three girls thanked Paul by presenting him with a bottle of malt whisky.
